Tour context

The Sturgis date closed the U.S. leg of his Idols World Tour. Yungblud has performed while injured before—he played Austin City Limits in a wheelchair in 2018 after fracturing an ankle—and he withdrew from Canada’s Cowboys Music Festival on July 12, saying he was taking time off in the U.K. He is slated to perform at Vilar de Mouros in Portugal on Aug. 18 and Pukkelpop in Belgium on Aug. 21.
